Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

yeah, she is pretty great. For the longest time my mom couldn't afford to buy me brand name ANYTHING. Years later my mom and step dad are living very comfortably and my mom likes to spoil us every now and then.

Finally a proper road-specific connection between my feet and my bike>

Sorry for the picture quality, I don't have a proper camera at hand at the moment.

Don't ask? I don't think there's anything wrong with that wheelset. In fact I think that's a great wheelset for street use, it's low cost so if a wheel gets bent in an accident you won't be crying, and it's sturdy so it will hold up longer on the street than light weight wheels. The Pure wheels and the Soul wheels https://2013.bikesoul.com/s3-0/ represent fantastic deals in the world of wheels.

Lezyne SV-5 Multi-Tool

A pair of Continental GP4000s tires-

I ordered 700x25 since I heard it is a little more comfy than 23 and there is no difference in performance, and the roads where I ride in India are bad, so I'd love a bit of extra comfort.

I saw this on BZ too. I think you should always have a multi tool with spoke tools. Have used them twice in the last few years for myself, and have had it borrowed a couple of times too.

In fact, I have a really small Topeak which has spoke tools as well as a chain tool. Not heavy, not bulky, so why be handicapped when far from home.

BTW, many feel the 25mms are faster than 23mms.

Others as well as I have had horrendous side wall issues with these tyres on bad Indian roads. Would love to hear your experiences.

My Cat Eye Urban wireless "worked fine"; Strava data from my phone was "good". This is another level and truly a luxury, I'm spoiled now. It's so nice to have whatever data you want in front of you, now I need to learn the more advanced functions.

My droid is quite bulky, & I want a dedicated comp for my bike.
Something that does it all(all I need). I'd like to stow my gargantuan device in my jersey pocket sooner that later.
It will be an early Xmas present to myself.
