I wanted to keep the initial build French, but this bike is waaaay too small for me, so I'll probably re-build it with Shimano indexing to keep around for visitors to ride. Most of the frenchy-ness will probably move over to the '69 PX-10 I've got on deck....

(yes, I know the FD is too high in the photo...)

I seem to be riding this Rivendell A.Homer Hilsen a lot more lately. My winter project is a Kabuki GranKabuki that I need to get a picture of by the end of the month.

My dad used to have a place in Palmetto and we would go out to Emerson Point. The view from there looks almost the same.

Picked this up in February - got quite a deal on it. Last Saturday, we gave it a quick go - whereon, my dear wife realized how much she despised the saddle that came on it for the stoker. Recently back from getting her one that should work quite a lot better for her - as well as a new pair of shorts and a jersey. While out last weekend, there was another couple at the trailhead poised to start out on their blue, Burley tandem, which they noted was several years newer than ours - so we're thinking it probably qualifies as C&V - even though I haven't nailed down the age yet. ... and yes, I intend to bring the nose down a bit on the captain's saddle, and the nose up a click on the stoker's before we try again (hopefully tomorrow).

'81 TH8 I really like the blue-with-orange-lettering combo Peugeot was using at the time. There was also a pretty nice green-with-orange-lettering, too.

The only blue bike I own, a Billato built 1995 Concorde Prelude in SL. Small Belgian club based team, KSV Deerlijk. This was my first retro bike, and by definition, also my first Concorde..... the numbers of both have grown since, as sometimes happens

This is probably here already but....

70's Botty Pro as found that belonged to a PDX stalwart of the bike racing scene back in the day.

And this isn't mine but is one of the most beautiful blues I have ever seen that Andy built for his cousin I think.

Very dark here but far more stunning in better light like my red one.
