maybe an "anti-protest", show a good show to, uh, show how much "better" it is with radios?

haha! yeah, right..... But, another fun sprint finish unless the breakaway can be a little larger and work together all the way to the end.

I predict the breakaway will fail spectacularly.

One of the guys - I don't remember who - said to expect fast on stage 11. We'll see. There's always a chance if you get that many bike racers together that there might be a bike race...

Some Frenchmen have gone on the attack....

Zzzzzzzzz.....

...and here comes the green, yellow, and white train of Team Columbia Highroad! Mark Cavendish for the win by a wheel, Thor Hushovd hanging on second!

Watching Thor come up short never gets old here.

I think everyone's making too much of the slight incline at the finish. Unless it's genuinely steep, Cavendish probably won't even notice it. If there is a slight advantage to the non-Cav sprinters, then Garmin needs to get real organized and take it today.

You know, I really like Matthew Keenan for commentary on versus before P&P step in.

I love to watch that kind of race except, I'd like to see the sprints be more evenly contested. Other teams need to do something to neutralize the Columbia lead out for Cavendish, but that is tough. They are a machine and Cavendish is second to none if he has that lead out.

I enjoy watching the peleton reel in the break at the last minute as long as a break succeeds once in a while so that there is at least a bit of doubt. I always loved the stages where the peleton caught the break at the line and a chaotic sprint ensued where McEwen appeared out of nowhere to win.

Seriously, Hincapie + Renshaw on the leadout is a machine.

Nothing much going on ?!?! Are you watching the same race as I am? Check this entry from LeTour.fr:

If that's not sports excitement at its highest level I don't know what is.

PS: Anyone see if LA posted on twitter around 14:51?

How likely is it that Astana could have 2 riders on the podium in Paris?

Well.. another sprint finish being set up after an extraordinarily boring day. Expected, but there's the little boy in me who wanted some fireworks.

I'll say though, the camera shot of the two little riders as the helicopter keeps backing up the shot then finally you see the mass of the peloton. Funny man.
