Yeah, I've found a few bucks before,too, but always stashed inside something else,like a jacket pocket,etc. Unfortunately, it was always just a few 1$ bills.
A previous comment about hauling home a big wrench, reminded me that I'd recently found a nice big hammer, but it was like a 3lb ball peen hammer, and I still had 2 hours to ride, so I just moved it out of the grass and onto the edge of the road, so at least somebody would find it (must've worked, I never saw it again!)

I find a lot of them that I just leave. I only keep the newest,cleanest, better quality stuff, and I still toss them all in the washing machine, then hang then out in the sun and breeze. Even then, most of them I've never worn (the exceptions being the Under Armour cap, the FroggToggs jacket, and a couple of the work gloves.)
