Student from September-April
Visitor Information Counsellor from May-August (yep. I sit at a desk and go on BF all day. hahaha.)
I am the front line for tourists coming into my city, and I am damn proud of that. I am responsible for close to a million dollars of input into my city each summer.

I'm a lawyer, which actually isn't a desk job. I run a walk-in legal clinic at a high school, but also travel around to group homes, juvenile detention centers, and people's homes to work with teenagers and represent them in education and child-protection matters. Oh, and court. I go to court some.
So I get to ride my bike around the ghettos of southern Connecticut while wearing a suit. It's pretty much awesome.

Information Security Officer for a financial document printing/imaging company.
It's 88% desk, but there's a fair good amount of time spent traveling and presenting to groups.

integration consultant / system architect. My company builds a web application that we say is one-size-fits-all. I'm responsible for delivering the 'fits-all' part.
It's mostly a desk job, but there is some travel to client sites, and so I get the bonus of being able to bring my bike on work trips and commute in places like Silicon Valley or DC. Currently, contemplating bringing my bike on a two week trip to Hawaii.

I'm an Editor for a company that sells medical supplies mostly from catalogs.
Yeah, it's a desk job, but a few of us are working on revamping the shower we have. It will come in handy this summer.

I suspect some would think it's worse than all of that!
All right brace yourselves, and if you are environmental extremist, you might want to look away .....
I work for an oil company ... and oil company that makes plastic ... the plastic used for plastic grocery bags, plastic milk jugs, and all sorts of other plastics. I work in the Engineering Department in Document Control. It's a great job!! I enjoy it.

Electrical engineer. I design airfield lighting and navigation systems. BUT I'm trying to get into bicycle design (there's a major manufacturer located near here). So everyone please wish me luck, I've been meeting with these folk for months now and may hear something definitive in two weeks.
My commute would change from 7 miles round trip to ~35, but I wouldn't complain!

Not surprised, but no one here is a financial advisor, consultant, CFP or even CPA!
I hope one day to be the only bike commuting financial advisor! I mean, come on, would you trust an FA who drives an Audi more or an FA who drives a Surly?

Company has showers. And the cheesiest bike rack evar.
Freelance Publishing Services. Go to a Lindt Chocolate outlet and look for a cookbook. I freelanced as Project Manager on that one.

I'm a desk Jockey too. My position: digital handyman or technical janitor.
I guess it's called Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer.
I work for a forensic science company. Yeah yeah, like CSI. No, I don't watch the show.

Army Captain, currently in charge of planning and coordinating special events (desk job in a private office on the top floor with large windows overlooking the peaceful rolling hills around Fort Hood remembering the relaxing ride in and pondering the quiet ride home).
In 3 months I will start my Master in Social Work in order to be an Army Social Worker.

Operations Analyst for a bank.
I sit in this cardboard box colored cube with no view to the outside world and pound on a keyboard. I make numbers pretty for a living. People look at those numbers and think... what pretty numbers...aren't we great. Whatever.
It sucks, but they give me money so it's a fair trade.
I guess if it was fun, they would call it a hobby and charge me for it
The best parts of the day are the ride in to work, followed by riding out for a sandwich at lunch, followed by the ride home.
[Note: After reading the above comments, I've decided that I should look for a more interesting job. Thanks BF ! ]
