That's exactly how mine went too, except mine went down into my instep. I could walk, but my right leg wasn't much use. I went to the doc, he wasn't much help. He might be a bit behind the times, as he said as long as I could walk, he wouldn't recommend surgery. So I researched stretching and exercise and did same, as explained above.. Also seems to be a durable solution.

Yeah, tried that. Six weeks of PT, shots, etc. Nothing worked. Except getting cut, which I'm hoping is the permanent fix.
