Your cog is slipping.
The compacts are really nice. I find myself using the drop section more and more. We've got some cool ones hitting the shop this week.

i had rb021s angled about 10deg down on my cdale a few years ago. the saddle was slid forward about 2.5cms from where it was with drops so even tho there was obviously more saddle to bar drop than hoods it was pretty comfortable as my whole body was just rotated[if that makes sense]. kinda like a tt bike where the saddle is more on top of the cranks. i commuted like that for about half a year and only switched it up for in-traffic visibility[its harder to shoulder-check like that]. so i guess i was a jackass.

Got my Nashbar bullhorns/Cane Creek bar end levers on and wrapped + swapped to an all black saddle.
Since I can't seem to just be happy with anything, I may change the wheel set soon, as well as the BB/cranks, and perhaps put a bigger cog on the side that my freewheel is on, since I never use it.
