I think that by asking for another Simplex pulley, you're setting yourself up for disappointment in very short order. The plastic they used in those just has not held up well at all. What happened to yours, happens to a LOT of them. Sun Tours match the dimensions, and don't have the propensity to spontaneously disintegrate.

I saw a couple of these restored bikes and were very impressed with it.Looking for a Nuovoitalia or ameritalia model and would be very willing to pay up to $1,000.00 for a nice umblemished frame. Thanks

I do see the wisdom in your advice, but in this case I'm after 'correctness', not functionality.

Bikes: '90s GT AllTerra Timberline with GM hub motor, Raleigh Competition, '81 Lotus Super Pro Aero, Schwinn S-25
Wanted: Araya Aero 1 tubular 27" 36 hole
( Replace damaged rim on '81 Lotus Super Pro "Aero" EDIT: I thought this bike was a 700c setup but apparently it's 27". I could have sworn that the original Araya Aero 1's were 700c. But my spares are actually Araya 27 1W rims and they mate with the brake pads just fine. So I guess I am actually looking for Araya Aero 1 in 27" 36h to replace the damaged rear wheel.

I'm not sure if this is anything like you're looking for, but I came across this on Craigslist and figured I'd post it for you.

It looks as if we've been moved...
I am now ISO cable/housing cutters. Used is fine, as long as it still cuts at least cables cleanly.
Also ISO:
-Size 12-12.5 road or mountain shoes

ISO: not C&V stuff
-Modern triple road crankset + bottom bracket for my cyclocross/offroad touring build ('05 Raleigh Team Cross). Something with about a 30-32 small ring and 165-170 arm length. - 105 or better triple clamp on FD - Pending
- Michelin Cyclocross Jet tires - 700x30
- Cross levers
Have: C&V stuff.
-Superbe Pro crankset. 170. Nice condition with black rings.
- Also a bunch of other stuff, see my past on page 146 for more

OK, I've hit a major snag.
I have a rear RSX road caliper with short reach. Based on the size of my frame, I thought it would be able to accommodate 700c wheels (Nishiki frame made for 27"). Not so.
If anybody has a caliper with long reach that even KIND OF resembles an RSX caliper (picture below), I'll trade you my caliper with short reach.
This project is getting way too difficult.

I should have an extra rear shimano slr caliper. Single pivot and not beautiful but the reach is 47-57

I'd love to see some pictures. Pretty much anything that'll brake and has pads.
#3671
The pads are old and hard but slr calipers are decent for a single pivot and have really long reach. I can take a pic later tonight.

ISO: 700c Front Wheel = Shimano Exage Sport 32H Hub + Wolber GTA Rim
I could use some help to locate a whole (or parts for) front wheel for a 1989 Club Fuji. The component group is Shimano Exage A450 Sport LX, including the missing front hub. The rim would be Wolber Gentleman GTA 700c, double walled with eyelets. That's all that I know, except what's listed on teh ClassicFuji 1989 brochure.
On the outside chance that you might have either of these components available or such a wheel not committed to an existing bike?
Thanks so much,
Phil G.
