I just got one of these and am trying to figure out where it was made and by whom. It sort of looks like a Panasonic bike frame because the braze-ons are similar but it doesn't have the serial number on the front of the head tube like the Japan Panasonics did: the serial number is on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell. There's one of these on eBay right now and the seller claims it was a Waterford built Schwinn, but I thought just Paramounts were built there. The other possibilities are it was built by Schwinn at the Greenville, Miss plant or it was built by Giant or Bridgestone. I've read a number of articles on Schwinn and their demise but having mainly owned Chicago built Schwinns (which are easy to identify) I never really cared much about where their bikes were built besides that, until now.
Thanks for any information on this.
