OK maybe I really do need to get rid of some stuff.

Getting things organized for an upcoming move. Where did all these come from?

Take extra “stuff” to your local coop.

I did this last year with several boxes and a couple of bags.

I truly dislike posting ads, so this was quite painless.

Right after I took the pic, I tried to count but gave up.

The new hometown has a coop, so some will get dropped off there. I get nervous though if I have less than 10 spares.

No sale plans right now, too much stuff to do, but moving to Cville. Easy to meet up if we need to do some horse trading.

Bikes: It's complicated.

That move has been some time coming. You probably only had 10 sets of extra handlebars back when you talked about it on the Magic Bus.

Wondering if I can put a few SunTour Cyclone first gen rear derailleurs together, wait 6 months, and see if they multiplied...

Maybe you can plunge them into the ground in your new yard, creating a fierce looking barrier between your house and your neighbors’. Get off my lawn!

Beat me too it! Great way to store both and still available if you need them.

Yes good idea. I have thought about that. The new house will have some dedicated bike space. There are a few Cinelli's in the pile but they are keepers for use or trade bait. jamesdak - I have followed your previous posts about hanging your bikes with some interest.

Neil - good thought - the bars hung on my front porch will serve as a warning to any bikes that might choose to trespass on my property! Here's another creative use:

Jeeez. Looks like you got more drop bars than I do. Take all that stuff to a non profit bicycle shop and donate it. I've got three complete bikes I'm taking to a local bicycle cooperative next month. (I'm only going to take about 9 bikes with me when I move) .
