Looks good RoS especially with the black seatpost and stem!

I finally removed the Deore rear derailleur and can show off my Circuit here. The chrome, paint and one shifter boss need attention but it fits me fine and I think looks pretty good. This 24 inch size gets me the 57cm TT which is my sweet spot.

'87 Tempo

It's all 600 tricolor except the DA Crank and DA MF7400 free wheel! Wheels are Phil Wood hubs laced to Campy hoops. Great ride!

That’s a very clean Tempo! I like the ‘87 teal and white color scheme.

Bikes: 1987 Schwinn Super Sport

New to the world of Columbus Schwinns, with my "new" used 87 Super Sport. It's seem some hard riding - the paint is pretty beat up in places - but I still love the way it looks (and rides)

1987 Super Sport

Picked this Super Sport up today. Awesome condition and as far as I can see it is all original. Love these late 80’s Schwinn’s.

Awesome is right. Someone had plans for that bike and then got distracted.

I soooo want to get my hands on one of these pink Super Sports. Congrats on landing one this nice. There seems to be a decent quantity of pink ones still circulating so I'm patiently waiting to be in the right place at the right time.

Bikes: Schwinn Circuit 89'

Here is a 1989 Circuit, slightly modernized with STI, but the rest is still Sante.

Man, Brofessor that thing is pristine! A clean Sante group is extremely hard to find as it can start looking really crummy really quickly. Beautiful Circuit! The 8-speed 600 STIs match it well. How does it ride???

Thanks for the compliments on her behalf Liberal applications of Mr. Clean sponges help with keeping the white crank clean. It's actually 7-speed RSX shifters, which work flawlessly after getting the adjustment dialed in. The ride is very racy, the classic geometry puts you in a very low position. However, it is also that much comfortable on uneven surface with the right rubber (I use Conti 4000s.). Handling is just as good as any racer out there. There is some flex in the bottom bracket area, especially when you stand up, but not enough to waste energy. With all that, it turns into a beast to reckon with in group rides

I have been watching this one on Facebook marketplace for about two weeks, but the seller wanted too much for it to start. Common mistake from the seller was a bad picture and incorrect information on the ad. Had it listed as a 1967. With no activity I threw them an offer and they took it. I guess the locals do not appreciate nice bikes when they see them.

Hey all,

I am looking remotely at an 87 Tempo, 23" frame. Teal and white.

Does anyone know what the top tube length is, by chance? If someone has an 87 Super Sport or Prelude in that size, it would likely be the same.

TIA.
