TRP RRL levers with center-pull calipers?

I know people have done this combination, but I've heard that center-pulls can be annoying to use with levers with built-in return springs. Anyone care to weigh in on this particular combination?

I'm specifically thinking of Weinmann 610s, or maybe one of the longer-reach Weinmann/Dia-Dompe models if I decide to go for a 27" to 650B conversion on the bike I'm thinking of using these on.

I have the TRP RRL levers with Weinmann 610s on my Raleigh International with no issues.
I have over 10K miles on that combination and was just debating getting that combination for a 70's Paramount build.

I have been using TRP RRL levers with Gran Compe 610 (reissue) calipers for the last couple years on my Mercian. There are no problems at all. Works well for everyday riding, and also good for loaded touring. I do wish TRP made a slightly longer lever for people with big mitts like me, but that's a minor gripe. Not sure why a return spring would create any problems.

I've heard that it can require extra hand effort to pull the lever, since center-pulls were primarily in use before brake levers had integrated return springs, so there's more total spring tension to overcome when pulling the lever

Could be I suppose, but FWIW this particular combo is still pretty light action. They are much lighter feeling overall than Campy NR or Mafac brakes. About the same as the Tektro cantis on my Riv. I just did a quick comparison.

I was looking for those pics yesterday and couldn't remember where I'd seen them. Thanks!
