Still, if anyone feels that my asking price is too much, it’s just that, an asking price. I’m open to offers!

Ha, also discussed here. Doesn't look like the C&V hive mind settled on a determination. RED "C" ~ Campy or Carlton ?

Carlton had C nuts while Raleigh had the R nuts, late 60's? Campy had theirs. This came up once before, they are near exact designs.
Gran Tourismo

Carlton Notice the little red void in the top serif of the C. This is always Carlton.

Another Carlton

I have the exact “C” nuts as above (but not on the Derailer) on my 72 Raleigh Grand Prix. I went to a QR wheelset so lost those and I moved the seat post binder nut to my SuperCourse to replace a hardware nut. From some photos of my bike I knew the super course originally had an “R” nut.

Interesting about the confusion between Campy, and Carlton here. The point made above about the small void in the top of the Carlton “C” makes rather good sense imo.
FYI this bolt came off of a ‘73 Raleigh Grand Prix
Hows a price drop sound?
