https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/bi...805386912.html

Ad copy first which shows a very, very optimistic statement...
Italics mine

"2 hybrid/utility bikes

Both are ridable but need to be tuned.

Peugeot - still usable but has dent in frame. Approximately 25 in wheels & 22 inch frame

Raleigh - Technium 440. Approximately 25 in wheels and 21 inch frame.

$120 for both"

Technium might be worth an offer but the Peugeot????

""It`s not so rare, it`s just rare, By definition it`s rare because ``it`s not found in large numbers and consequently has interest or value``.
Second because the overall condition for a 1983 bike with almost 100% original components and all in excellent condition with very good original paint makes it way better than average. I don`t have the only 3 non original components for this model as a Wheel Rims, Seat and Cassette.""

Aside from the paint I can't find anything that looks original to the bike. And the TreTubi decal makes suspect that it even is a Tipo Corsa. When I questioned this he became snarky and accused me not knowing what I was talking about.

Yeah, it's rare because it is the only Bianchi ever sold with a Shimano front derailleur and a SunTour rear derailleur. What a tool. I don't think he has a clue. There's a 1983 Bianchi catalog somewhere that has this bike's specs, which came with Campy Record.

"Ripping the Lid Off NYC Bike Flipping on Craigslist". The cat's out of the bag now. What a game-changer! This ad deserves a 60 Minutes segment.

Bikes: Frequently

OK, now this one really does look like a 'barn find.'
Actually, it could be somebody's idea of a classic worth restoration at only $100, if you don't mind the crotch-stabbers.

Be sure to post a closeup of something obviously wrong with your machine, even if it's the only thing wrong. Gotta wonder which shop performed that tuneup.

I have a 49cm Panasonic DX 2000 road bike for sale. This bike has new tires, tubes, bartape, chain, and has a $90 tune-up. This bike has Shimano components and a Tange Double Butted main tubing. This bike has been serviced and detailed and is ready to ride. If interested please contact me

Okay it's a serious ad and a nice idea but I wouldn't get far in Ontario selling beer as I ride down the street

https://www.ebay.it/itm/Mobile-Bar-B...K6D:rk:34:pf:0

Mobile Bar Moto

Per ad:

This traditional styled mobile bar bicycle is designed for serving drinks at public events and trade shows.

These bicycles make a perfect addition to a catering business that operates ice cream tricycles for wedding events.

With a 90cm long bar top, two beer pumps can be fitted or the space used for stocking glasses and bottled drinks. A lower shelf is designed to carry a beer barrel but can be used for storing additional stock.

The two wooden infill panels provide space for branding in your company logo. The bicycle is fitted with a wide stand to keep it steady and even remains stable when a branded parasol or feather flag is fitted. Please enquiry for prices of branding and custom parasols.

Please note: the bicycle is not supplied with any drinks equipment or beer pumps. This equipment can be readily sourced from local brewing equipment suppliers.

With a Team Replica in progress at the moment I've been keeping an eye on eBay for parts. This one appeared yesterday - no guarantee it's genuine, but look at the starting price.

It does include free postage though.

Nice bike. I had one just like it in 64cm. Even in pristine original condition it would not be work the ask.

PEUGEOT PX10 LE - $750 (Richmond)

bicycle type: road
brake type: caliper
condition: excellent
frame size: 56 cm
handlebar type: drop
make / manufacturer: Peugeot
model name / number: PX10 LE
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: 700C
Beautiful 1977 56cm PX10 LE in excellent condition, with VERY little wear. The Reynolds 531 steel frame and decals are in great shape. There is no rust anywhere. All components are like new. I upgraded the friction shifters with Suntour Power Shift levers, which makes shifting almost effortless. The Simplex rear racing derailleur works perfectly. The tires are like new, as are the wheels and top-quality Maillard 700 Pro hubs. The original Peugeot seat post and Simplex shift levers are included. Unblemished SIG "Bernard Hinault" signature leather Turbo saddle (please excuse the extended seatpost in the pic. I ride the bike and I am 6'3". With a standover-height of 33" the bike would best fit riders 5'10" to 6'1"). The bike weighs about 21 lbs. The "LE" PX 10's have a little shorter wheelbase than the other PX 10's, as they were designed as Criterium Racing bikes. This iconic Peugeot racing bike is rock-solid, fast, and handles and climbs great.

Why have an adjustable stem if one doesn't adjust it?

Hm, Fort Wayne... wouldn't it fun to pull up to the dude's place in Morticia, dressed as the grim reaper, show him that pic with the hideous stem setup, slap him once and turn and walk away......

Miscellaneous bike parts and frames - $100

I think one could easily get $100 worth of parts out of that pile. But, whew, unknown source of that mound.

When the bike licensing fee law is finally passed, that pile of junk will cost $100 a year to keep legally registered.
