Everyone should come out tonight. Weather should be nice if it doesn't rain. 10 pm at GAP. Slap on a small gear and spin with me!

Hour-by-hour weather report from weather.com says no rain tonight I hope it's right. Rain will start again around 6am tomorrow.

What's a good route to GAP from the billsburg or brooklyn bridge?

Brooklyn BR to GAP:

2 ways: simple+traffic or little more complex+less traffic

simple+traffic:

L on Tillary off at the BB exit.
R on Flatbush @ bottom of the hill
Flatbush takes you right to GAP (the big traffic circly thing at the top of the hill.) (approx 1.5 miles)
Take a right to go around the plaza, We meet just inside the park entrance.

But traffic on Flatbush can be crappy to deal with, so:
lesstraffic+lesssimple:

L at BB exit on Tillary.
1 block then Right on Jay St @ metrotech
Straight for 6 blocks
L on Livingston (don't get killed by a bus)
R on Hoyt (don't hit the planet-sized potholes)
Go Across Atlantic, go something like 10 more blocks.
L on Union
take union across Gowanus canal and up to Park Entrance, on right (about 1.5 miles.)

I don't take no stinkin! verbal abuse from anyone who's being passed!! It was fun - next time someone should bring a cowbell. Actually, for bizarre reasons I think I might have one if anyone wants me to I'll bring it.

no problem, you pack of sissies. And for the record, I *let* myself get dropped after pulling you up the hill a little bit. Which really, REALLY impressed the girl I was riding with.
