Bikes: 07 Specialized Langster Comp,06 Kona King Zing, 06 Specialized Rockhopper Pro Disc; 03 LOOK KG461;(destroyed by suv); 85 Panasonic Team America; 73 Peugeot U0-8; 94 Balance Super B BMX; 04 Diamondback Outlook MTB, Diamondback DBR DH

Go with the Pike. From what you described, it seems like one of the best choices I can think of.

p.s. Don't mess with Killer B. I heard he has 5 bikes!

bwahahaha.

on topic: if buying used "older" forks is a consideration, the 03-04 marz z1s were great freeride single crown forks (although kind of heavy).

Anytime...Any place... But so far from what I've seen
in the pics you guys have posted, I'm not wasting my
gas to prove myself. Just go ahead and down me if it
makes you all feel better... Ha Ha
Ok then, Maxwell/Black intersection, Sat. at 9:00. Put up or shut up!

Oh...BTW...I have a Pike 454 Dual Air that I had on my Coiler a while ago (it's now sitting in the garage waiting for a bike to be built around it)...it's an amazing fork...light, stiff, tuneable, 20mm axle and I got it new in the box off eBay relatively cheap.

Hey, they are extremely nice and they were cheaper than XT. Weight? Unfortunately I've gone through two sets of pedals since I put em on and the Wellgo set that is installed now creaks after a day of riding.

Remove, repack, re-tighten.

A day and a half later the creaking is back.
