I suppose I could copy and paste from the other thread... anyhow.

I do not use the names I have for my bikes but more like their brand names or bike type.
Touring bike, racing bike, or MTB. vs Randonee, Tarmac, or huffy. vs Novara, Specialized, or huffy.

Huffy MTB= POS
Specialized Tarmac= big red
Novara Randonee= donkey

I named my last car POS. I wonder if this caused it to break down so much.

Bikes: Raleigh Glacier MTB/Commuter. Cannondale CAAD5, Windsor Timeline fixed gear

I have a name for all my bikes. They are all just "remixes" of brands on the bike

MTB - "Terry" or "Raleigh" It has a Terry Seat and its a Raleigh MTB

Wanna Roadie - Shes called "Ariel" because its a old Aerowind.

Other MTB - Her name is "Sedona". Its a Giant Sedona.

I even named my car "Stanley the (nissan) Stanza" Or just Stanley for short.

As for PC names;
There's the Clive, The Cannonball, Gordon the Big Blue Express Locomotive, Tigger, Ernesto, The Hurri, Merlin the Mutt, The Ferrari, my "Secret Weapon Bike", Granite Gargoyle, Physical Graffitti & Rainbow.
The rest are usually refered to by color & type. ie; the red mixte.

Haha, here's a question for you!

Free paint job* to the first person to correctly describe the vehicles associated with ALL the above listed names!

List Brand/model, style & color.
I may let you slide on missing one that I'm pretty sure I have never posted about.
The rest could all be gleened from my posts.

Good luck & happy hunting!

*Paint job = steel frame/fork, single color. With clear of course!

Offer ends at hi-noon, May 12th, 2007! Just to cover the fine print.

MBGS, you got an old Aerowind? I've been looking for one of those for years.
What size is it?

Bikes: 1984 Trek 520; 2007 Bike Friday NWT; misc others

It's a recurring thread topic.

My bronze 1984 Trek 520 tourer "The Bronze" - a TV reference.
My blue Peugeot Mackenzie mountain bike is "Bix" because it's a beaterbike.
My red Raleigh Century is "Rubeus" because it's twice as heavy as a normal bike.
I've been looking for a suitable name for the old silver Panasonic roadbike I commuted on for 12 or so years - maybe Godzilla or Mithrandir or something.
I have a green Bike Friday on order and I'll need some inspiration there too.

I'm not hooking my trailer up to the Gazelle just to complete the metaphor! Anyway, he might think he was pulling trucks, and that would NEVER do!

Bikes: old one, mtn bike, Volta e-bike

Our tandem is named The Snarky II ... not sure why.
My e-bike doesn't have a name yet but sometimes I call it the Cutie.
None of our other bikes have names (yet).
