Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Riding home at night with no helmet and a dim headlamp, looked over my shoulder to change lanes and ran into a 4x4 lying in the road (who knows why?) proceeded to fly over the handlebars and land headfirst on the curb of the median. Didn't lose consciousness but you can see the result. They bloody eye was swollen shut for two days. Photo was taken 1 week after the crash. Nothing happened to the bike except some blood stains plus a scuffed up grip. Ruined my better pair of Rx glasses & my headlamp. Definitely lucky to not be dead or a vegetable.

Ouch! Happened to my friend, he was piss drunk on a bike, hit a parked car, and had a demonic red eye for like two months.

That is one nasty head wound. I am glad that you are relatively ok. Now off to find my helmet.

Haha the disembodied arm + PBR can is the kind of detail that makes a picture truly awesome.
