noob question

Does the Mercier fork allow for quick release wheels? instead of using the nuts and bolts

I was inspired by this bike (because it's so ****ing awesome)....

and started messing around in photoshop. I think I'm going to get a Wald rack, with the riser set up. So far I like what i've come up with on the comp.... and the Wald racks are like $15 so why not. I've found myself in many situations where I needed more cargo space. I think it'd look something like this:

If I get it I'll post real pics soon enough.

because page 308 is the last page with content, every page after that is empty and is generated by the forum software obviously as a glitch. I can't believe how many people are up in arms about this!

Looks like there will be quite a few new Kilos on the road this week (including mine). Hope to see some new pics in this thread.

I'' be sure to post photos of my jackass creation as soon as I get it assembled.

The week between ordering and receiving my kilo was the longest week ever.
Refreshed the tracking page at UPS so many times...

So I bought this off a friend because it was too big for him, it needs a new headset though. I know my seats pitched far up I'm playing with different angles and heights. but this is my first frame with real track geometry i like it!

ugh...I can't wait to get mine, and all these Kilos aren't making the wait any easier. I pre-paid for one in the orange crush color last week and it should be arriving/shipping this week....maybe get it at the end of this week or beginning of next...who knows.

No the headset isn't broken but it was used and when I rebuilt it the other day I knowticed the races were pitted plus I want a sealed bearing headset.

I think you're gonna want a threadless headset? I've head good things about the cane creek s-2. Its about $50 and its sealed. Any other suggestions?

Looking good. I love your bike in it's black/white state. Also I never noticed the adidas logo on the head tube before. new? You should send a pic of your bike to adidas.

Got my gold one...paint job looks pretty slick, decals are white. I couldn't get the stock cranks off to replace them without fear of stripping, so I'm taking in to my LBS to have them do it (it's my first build, and I don't want to screw it up). I'll post pics once I have the build finished and can find a decent camera.
