I use StreetGlo reflective tape both on my bicycle, my kids bicycle and on my motorcycle. They have more motorcycle stuff than bicycle stuff, but the reflective tape is here: https://www.streetglo.net/reflective.tape/

They also have a bicycle reflector kit using sheet cut reflective vinyl. This is more expensive than a roll of reflective tape but it includes bicycle helmet decals. This is here:

I'm really big on night reflectivity. I have almost all the colors they sell. However I can tell you to consider either Orange, Green, Blue, or Yellow. These colors are very bright and they contrast with the colors seen at night on the street. All of the colors are bright. Black is the least bright but amazingly it does reflect sort of a yellow gold color.

Have a look. I am happy with it. My kid also has some of the smaller reflective motorcycle decals stuck on his helmet an they help. I don't let him ride at night alone but I still feel better about having all the reflectives. If you look at the 2nd link above, there are photos there on a bicycle and it's pretty close to what you can expect with Streetglo's reflective tape.

I forgot to mention. You can buy full sheets for about $9.00 and cut your own shapes. Here is the link... https://www.worlddecals.com/

I use one alternating pattern of 3M silver red silver on all my bikes with fenders. My clip on race blade fenders have yellow/red/yellow (I ran out of the silver). Very visible on all.

Bikes: Too many 80s roadbikes!

Rmalloy22 - You wouldn't happen to be an employee of that web site, would you? Or do you have a different reason for digging up a year's worth of reflector threads to post about that shop?

did mine in white scotchlite 680 reflective sheeting.

My bike has three colors to it, black red and a little white. I bought all three colors at Identi Tape and covered all the advertising (bicycles sure have a lot of advertising considering the small amount of space for it) on the bike. Now the bike shows up great from any angle in the dark (when a light is shined on it of course) and looks much better in the daylight without all the advertising. Hooray reflective tape!
