I wouldnt buck with him...

Last weekend, in Jefferson, TX, I met an 87 year-old licensed pilot that rides his electric-converted bike to work in his bookstore 6 days a week. Cool old guy, too.

Do ya suppose Buck knows Afrika Bambaataa? Seems like there might be an extra-terrestrial connection there.

Why is a teasip riding a black and red bike? I are an Aggie and even I would not do that.

It's really more black and blue -- the red comes from the fuzzy cover on the AirZounds Horn. I guess it's time to get a can of burnt orange spray paint! Thanks for the inspiration!

But you do notice that my bike has longhorns on it, right?

Now THAT'S a rig!! Why leave it home when you can take it with you? I bet he loves that bike and babies it like nobodies busines. And I also bet nobody teases hime about that Bart Simpson thing on the rear brake, either. Great photo.

What is the lightest lava lamp? I want to have one on my bike, but don't want to make my bike too heavy.

Edit:

I just noticed... rear calipers and rear drum brake! Cool idea!

Buck Sighting!

I saw Buck today, pulling into Target this morning to do his Black Friday Shopping. He looked exactly like the picture! It was freezing out, and he saunters in, completely unintimidated by the cars all around him. I loved it, I was smiling and couldn't stop looking; I think he took it like I was laughing at him; I'm glad he didn't pound me.

Actually, I really do like what this man has done with HIS bike.

Cycling could use more people who use their bike as an expression of
their own vision of "bike" art. You all can laugh at this soul but I share
his love of "it's this way because "I" like it that way" .

One thing he does NOT share with any of you.......He's no Lance
wanna be!

BTW, his real name is Antonio, if you ever meet him again...

(or, Mr. Antonio, Sir... if you prefer )

When I grow up, I want to be as cool as Buck. To your point, Tightwad (and many other contributors here): To have the maturity/self confidence to do it your own way...does it get any better than that?!
