I watched the guy ride the top one in person. It's pretty hard to look way to the right of your direction of travel.
You have to look behind you.

There are some interesting bikes at www.atomiczombie.com too. There are a couple of sideways bikes that are pretty cool. Don't think i have the balance to ride one, tho.

Those sideways bikes are way cool! I'd love to try them. I can ride a bike while sitting on the handle bars facing backwards, and can ride a unicycle. I think I could ride one of these, given a little time. It sure does look fun!
