Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Wierd Sightings of "What Would Lance Do" bracelets...

The other day at work I saw a LARGE woman in a "Rascal" type motorized wheelchair (technically a fixed gear as this type had a direct drive (Waves and smiles at mods ) smoking through her trach ring while wearing one of those damn yellow bands....
Also, in this months issue of "Hustler" in the movie review section, one of the "actors" is wearing one. One of the guys from work showed it to me, he thought it would be funny to me since I'm "The Bike Guy".
Has anyone else seen odd appearances of the "WWLD" bracelets?

Bikes: track bikes, etc

Jesus and Lance are like the same person anyways. I love me some Jesus and I get plenty when I ride my sweet conversion with platform pedals to church with no brake.

That's not a Lance bracelet, is it? The colour looks way off to me.

Bikes: Cocaine the white stallion, Custom Witcomb pista, (Being restored) 80's Pogliaghi Track, (destroyed) RAP Round Breeze NJS, Cannondale Jekyll 900, 84/5 Pinarello Montello (all italian)

Nathan Fabian is above the Yellow Jersey. Nathan Fabian has no need for such trivial symbols of human achievement. Nathan Fabian will out-hardcore your yellow jersey even in neutral colors.
