pannier. Silly kryptonite ulock never fits on any of my bikes.

Cable lock wrapped around my seatpost, locked with padlock (and tight enough so that it doesn't fall).
Handcuffs in the waist pack I wear (sorta hidden pocket).
Yes, real handcuffs...bike hasn't been stolen yet.

My frame's too small to carry the lock attached to it , so I lock it through the rack, and then wrap a bungee cord around it so it doesn't rattle.

My u-lock carrying strategy is a lot like lelak's; I put the shackle around the seatpost and one side of the little raised "handle" at the front of the rack, then close it. I have two bungee cords running lengthwise down my rack, so I just hook them over each end of the cylinder to hold it in place. Works great.

I was using the bracket that my u-lock came with, but this took up too much space inside the frame triangle, so there wasn't room for a water bottle in there at the same time, which is why I switched to carrying it on the rear rack.

For my cable lock, I unlock it, then put each end through the handle in opposite directions, then lock it back together. This holds it pretty well, keeps it from flopping around very much.

Around my waist. Its a kryptonite chain lock. Gotta love the chastity belt look!

U-lock, either in the pannier or in the bag. Those silly clamp things the manufacturers supply never seem to fit in convenient places that still allow 2 water bottles, and it'd only be on one bike anyway. In the pannier or bag is just easier.

I use the manufacturer's clip for my onguard mini U lock. I've only ever needed one water bottle so far and I managed to fit it in there with one water bottle cage, so it works for me. Faster than dealing with bungies too.

I use the bike for errands and such a lot, and if it were in a bag I would be constantly forgetting it.

I'm still working out the damn cable that goes with it, I honestly just don't use it most of the time.

I carry my lock in by messenger bag and around by waist.

I leave it hanging on the parking meter at work. I have another at home if I need to run errands. I want to get something like the Whiplock ( www.whiplock.com) for quick stops, but I can't find it anywhere.

The frame mounting brackets have always annoyed me. I either throw it in my bag, or put it in my back pocket. I have an OnGuard Bulldog Mini, so it fits in most of my pants. A U-lock can also be slipped under a belt.

I have a GIGANTIC stem and north road-esque bars and my full-size krypto loops over stem/bars easily w/o interfering with anything else.

Messenger bag. WHen riding without the bag, I tuck it into the back of my pants, slightly left. Doesn't bother. (Its a u-lock)

I use my backpack. If I don't have a backpack with me, I just use the handlebar.

Does this mean you found a good place to stash the bike at work?

I hate carrying my heavy-ass U-lock around so I leave it locked to the rack at work with a cable I can loop through the other wheel. When I do carry a lock, when riding to the beach for coffee or somethig, it's the Krypto cable lock that clips into a bracket on the mtb or bungees to the rack on the roadie thing.

I think next time we meet up it's my turn to buy beer. Plans for the weekend yet?

I sling my Krypto chain lock over my shoulder. I've ridden up to 20 miles in a day like this and it doesn't seem to bother my shoulder or back. I've even gone over my handlebars with no issues.

Wrap the chain around the seatpost. The mini-U fits in my back pocket and my bag.

Mini Krypto in backpack/messenger bag/saddlebag, back pocket, and sometimes even jersey pocket. I have a cable I bring for locking up my wheels sometimes as well. It depends on where I'm going to be locking up.

I hang the lock over the handlebars. It never gets in the way, and it's easy to get it off.

I have a Kryptonite U lock that I hardly ever use so it stays home.
I have a Nashbar brand coiled cable lock that I keep in my panniers.
If I'm riding without my panniers I wrap it around my rack or seat post.
