Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? ! Spring/Summer Spokecard Exchange !

Hey peoples,
heres my spokecard exchange as i promised last year. the Secret Santa Spokecard Exchange went pretty well and was a lot of fun, so here we go again.
The Postcard-Spokecard Exchange.

Email: spokecard@spud77.com with your mailing address and i will match you up with somebody at random.
if your mailing address is not included you will not be paired with anyone.
email deadline: June 17th

Design: design a spokecard-postcard highlighting the best places in your town/city/state (or country for the international crowd), make it as touristy or as bicycle-related as you want, or both.
Doublesided design, typical postcard picture on side and text/note on the other appreciated, could do photos/design on both sides if you want, but you should include your screen/name somewhere so people know who designed the awesome spokecard.
PSD template
postmark deadline: June 30th

Notes: use a computer, photographes, drawings, whatever, make it the standard 5.5"x4.25" (landscape or portrait) spokecard size.
if youre doing your design on a computer, please use 300dpi or higher and print it on a good paper.
all spokecards must be laminated (1/4" laminate extra on all sides is recommended regardless of how you make your spokecard).
Late and non-senders will be outed here publicly.
Please do not post your own designs, please do post scans/pictures of postcard-spokecard(s) you do receive, in a new thread i will create.

I will make sure that people do not get postcard-spokecards of their own city.

peace,
spud

a sticky for this thread til july would be nice mods

template not required, that size will fit in most wheels without a hitch, you can make it a bit smaller if you want, if its too small it will fly out or make a buch of noise then come out...

this is kinda off topic, but where do you go for the cheapest lamination? I have to make about 300 spoke cards for an alleycat coming up, and I work at a ****ing coffee shop.

(it seems like if you do it enough it might be cheaper just to buy the machine https://www.laminator-price-guide.com )
