Is it grease or Loctite for light bulb threads? I can never remember.

I'd have to say none. If it's not on our bikes then we have no idea on how to fix it. Let the significant other do it but if he/she also rides then in the dark they stay.
On the other hand, if you did a really good tape job before you painted, then I'd say it would only take one to change the lightbulb.
