I rode my girlfriend's exercise bike so I could stay home and watch a DVD while she was at work this morning.

Did you truly believe that your bike was gonna get lonely?
You can leave your bike at home when you need to drive, there not like dogs, they dont enjoy riding in the car.

I parked my ride on a rack next to a Cannondale full-suspension oversized-tubing bike with Deep V's laced to disc hub conversions, and 25c Bontrager slicks. You're excused.

I rode with my shorts inside out one day this week. It wasn't that I was too lazy to change them right, I just didn't care. I figured with my shirt untucked, who's gonna see the lable. They seemed a little shinier than usual too. Anyways, I hope I can get to sleep tonight now that I relinquished all that guilt.

I rode home from a team ride in the dark without my commuter lights because they'd be way too dorky on the road bike for this particular ride (I did stash my blinkies and put them on after!).

Edit: and don't forget my sig (reproduced in post in case it changes), as I think it applies to most of you:

Hubris.

Well, wasn't commuting, but... I wiped out on my Volpe in cycling attire (well, baggies and a zoic joyride tee, not quite roadie gear) on the West Side Greenway 'cause I was trying to pass some peds right after I had just passed some a young couple on bikes, cut it too close and skimmed the asphalt/grass border with my tires (sidewalls OK, 1 inch dip to grass from asphalt)... Wiped out back on the path...

I went for a ride on the MUP today and pedaled really slow.

Oh, and it was dark yesteray by the time I got home. No lights. Thought I could wait until the anti daylight savings time change.

I don't signal turns if I don't see traffic, and I never signal braking.

Last Monday, I got all the way to work, saw my reflection in the plate glass and realized that I didn't have my helmet on.

I ride on the sidewalk all the time. Hardly ever a pedestrian or bicyclist. Some of it's asphalt.
