Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? some say $5500, others say $3300, nevertheless the Polish national track team are the only ones who have it now.

The $5500 could be a complete bike and the $3300 is frameset since the regular P3C is $3200 for the frameset and it looks like the only difference from the regular one is the lack of a derailleur hanger, you can even see water bottle bosses on that picture. None of that changes the fact I get a major hardon for that bike.

That explains why their older Look frames are on auction at Allegro.

I wonder why you all are not calling "Boo, conversion!". It looks like it's their TT frame (complete with CSC sticker and water bottle bosses) only with track ends. I guess they just changed 130 to 120 and slapped trackends on. I wonder if the BB is higher and they did anything to the geometry.

BTW, HOT !

The seat angle was already something like 75 degrees on the road version.

It's 78 in the steep position.

Speaking of steep:

From the weight weenies thread, the bike has holes for internal cable routing and a rear brake. If they left in the internal cable routing, they probably didn't change the geometry either.

Makes me think they should have just designed replacable dropouts for it. Or just put on horizontal dropouts and ride a conversion on the track! If I were theoretically buying a bike like that I wouldn't want there to be a single hole in it.
