Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Litespeed Teramo build in progress..........

Here is the build so far minus the handlebar tape and cable routing. As you can see I have stripped off the stock decals because I hated the look of them and have gone with a clean Ti look with my new Spinergy Xaero LIte wheels with the custom yellow spokes. The setup so far weighs in at 16.75 lbs. I assume another 1/2 lb. for or so for the chain and handlebar tape with cables. Sub 18 once done.

I am dying to try out the new Xaero Lite's and can't until of course I have the cables routed. I did sit on the bike thinking to myself, "Dear God don't let these wheels be mushy!" They did not feel mushy to me sitting on the bike and I hope once I can take it out for a break in they are not.

Build almost done

Frame stripped

Front look

New wheels

Man...the handlebar drop makes up for the lack of drop the stem setup gives ya

Those are some nifty looking wheels, BTW.

Thanks...........yeah the wheels had mixed reviews but I chose them after talking to Spinergy direct ref. my concerns of past reviews by consumers. Those who hate them really do, and those who love them would never trade them.

Looking good msheron, I like the yellow color scheme. FWW, I have had a set of Spinergy Xaero's for over three years, they are not mushy, provide a great ride, and I have found them to be bomb proof. Looking forward to seeing your build progress.

No the frame had all those obnoxious loud decals on it. I took a hairdryer to it and used Goo B Gone to get the residue off after peeling off the decals.

Yea, it looks like the levers are mounted too low on the bars.

Mount any higher you would not be pulling straight back toward the drops but rather down.
