My poor weak atrophied Body...

It was a sunny, clear day with high puffy clouds and snow on the mountain in LA today.
I had a wind blowing North - North East at 15 to 35 mph gusts and I did a 25 miler.

This was only my second ride in two weeks and I was slow. (the whole ride seemed like
I was in slow motion..) But I had one hell of
a good time and it was a great day for it.

I long for more days like today. I have been suffering from the LOVE BUG the last 6 weeks, having been dating a fine woman about my age and falling for her... and dodging inclement weather... BUT the time to
ride has come back to me. It is once again in my bones and I am looking forward to doing more than 2,500 miles again this year too.

I wanna strengthen my legs up again so I can
keep up with my GF on my Rhoades Car while she rides my Easy Racers EZ-1. I developed the ability to cruise at 10-12 mph on the Rhoades Car even on slight inclines last summer and could do 15 mph on slight to moderate declinations.

Spring is not that far off in LA and I am rare'n to go! My sympathies lie with you folks in the midwest and east coast. I envy
you in a way, growing up in a harsh environment, I think it builds toughness and character, although I sure as hell couldn't imagine living in that snow sh*t. Although I am an atheist, I will say warmly to all of you... "God have mercy on your souls... and may he keep your heinies warm..."

Ned, congrats on this new chapter in your life. May you find all the happiness in the world with your new girlfriend, and may your strength soon return so you can cycle for as long as you want!

I assume she should be standing in front of a white garage door, right?

So glad you were able to get outdoors. The new friend must really be getting serious to even think of letting her spend time on your wheels.........Just two things I don't share-my bikes and my golf clubs!!! Just kidding of course!

I noticed you hadn't been posting as much. Glad that the only fall was for a woman.

Way to go Ned. It is always good to have a riding partner. I am walking to build up character and fortitude. Spring has been cancelled in Northern Illinois for a few more weeks it seems.
