FYI - good tubular glue removal stuff
For those of you who prefer to remove the old tubular glue from your rim before installing a new tire. I have used Citristip on two seperate occasions and it works real well. I paint it on, wait about 12 hours and then use a tire lever to scrape the mostly dissolved glue away. You may need to do this twice if you have thick old glue on a rim.
You can use Citristrip indoors and it isn't nasty to the environment or your brain cells. It seems to work much better than acetone or goof off.

Before you start swimming in this "non-nasty" product, here is the link to the MSDS informatio.https://www.wmbarr.com/msds/CCG73804.pdf

Goof Off works great. I picked up a tin can of it at Home Depot for like $4. Best used outdoors tho, because the chemicals listed on the back have a lot of *-zene names... not good. Goof Off worked much better than acetone on old Vittoria Mastik glue

I'm assuming Goo-off, acetone and citirstrip are safe to use on carbon rims
