Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What better way to start off a Rest Day Saturday (the first one in about two years) than by throwing a grenade into the BF Peloton?

Don't hijack the thread. That grenade appears to be steel by the way.

Who said anything about racing? I race steel, and I'm a retro idiot (build my own wheels, ride 9-spd D/A, etc.)

They are also the ugliest goddamn bikes on earth, with their cartoonishly huge tubes and nauseating color schemes. Maybe I'm a "retro idiot", but I'll take my steel Torelli over a fugly Corporate-dale any day.
