Holy crap...that would be like looking directly into the landing lights on a 747!

Do they come with any warnings about "may cause temporary blindness"?

It's more like "will cause temporary blindness".

They should also come with a 'will cause permanent poverty' warning too. $500?!!! I can get 3000 lumens for a whole lot less than than...and a longer run time.

Somehow I think that blinding oncoming drivers would be anti-productive...

With a 55 minute run time, it would barely get me to work and back in the winter with reduced run times due to temperatures.

So over the top to be ridiculous

But hey, I sort of like ridiculous...

Bikes: Too many to list comfortably

I'm sure they can be mod-o-fied to allow for longer run-times.

Sure, if I strapped a car battery to the frame

While I'm at it I may as well use a set of BMW HID Projectors too

I say strap that puppy to your helmet!
Then you will definitely see what ever you are trying to look at.
Gonna suck for the drivers at stop signs though

55 mins? That wouldn't get me ANYwhere. Well, I guess I could go to the station and back.

Thats 55 minutes on the 3000mAH pack it comes with.
Just get a bigger one and wire it in like this one:
https://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...OD&ProdID=3645
for triple the burn time.
I know one of you guys is crazy enough to do this...

Probably not much more then that unit. It weighs 800g. One thing to factor in on the weight of my system would be my wallet...a whole lot heavier

It doesn't have a blinky mode, so cars will never see you.
