Better than in their shorts. Would feel sorry for the Podium girls.. They have enough sweat to deal with, already.... Heah, football players are real men and do it in their cups.

I'd love to see a pic of a rider going while in motion.

I've seen video but no still photos.

Bikes: Bikes are environmentally damaging

Does anyone else wonder what the guy standing up on the motorcycle is staring at?

Heah, maybe they were in Spain and the bushes were in need of a watering. I recall that awful mag. "Bicycling had a picture of Oscar Feire spraying.. From the rear, thank god.. I suspect you mean that. I recall reading at the TDF- that is a fine... At least when fans are about.
My tour across Nevada, about 20% of the group were women. Never saw a problem or a need for them to squat. Must have missed something, the longest day was 113 miles with absolutely nothing inbetween.... Nothing. Not even a port- a -john.
Not enough sleep today.I'am Rambling on....Reminds me of the time.....female scuba divers in the Florida Keys.....Women had to dispose of solids in the middle of a 50 foot dive. Guess, one of those surprises....Did not want to end the dive and a fair swim to the boat..
They copied the bahavior of the rest of the fish..Not me, but I recall other divers stumbled upon them behind a coral head. No respect for privacy. Told fish were curious, also.Should have put up a sign. Probably a better show than Sam The Bikin man calls for....I missed it..

I was marshaling the Utah Ironman two years ago. One of the girls I was giving a penalty asked me to hold her bike. I was checking my stop watch when I noticed some splashing on my shoes. Yes, she just squatted right there, in the road, and went...

Afteral, the penalty was only for 30 seconds, she didn't have much time

I replaced my shoes later that day. Luckly I got a few years of use out of them!

It's fairly easy to spot if you watch enough racing. I saw it a couple times during the Vuelta and TDF. Lance was one of the riders.

Just look for a rider off to the side of the road, tilted to the side, with his hand by his crotch while being pushed by a teammate.

She must have liked you Joe. So did you go out for dinner with her after your golden shower?

I don't think she liked Joe. I think she was paying him back for the penalty.

I saw a pic from the TdF where Lance is in front, one leg cocked way out to the side, hand in the crotch, one hand on the bars, just wizzing away, while three of his teammates are in a line behind him, each pedaling with one hand on the back of the guy in front of him, pushing the guy in from of him... it was 3 guys in a chain, all connected, and all pushing Lance. At first I just thought they were in a pace line, but then I noticed Lance wasn't pedaling. LOL.

Unfortunately I didn't think it was worth saving at the time. Now I wish I'd saved it.

The story about TDF Lance event. That is too much. Have to do that for a team mate, that is beyond the call of duty. Would all team mates perform this ritual for every team mate?
I do not think this a safe procedure. How good is a riders' aim.. Wind and all that.. Eh god..Gross.
That is really pushing the word 'domestique.' And I feel guilty for once clamming on a cyclist, as they once passed me by- with a snot rocket...Did not know they were there. Should have said passing on right/left.

Yes. You gotta go you gotta go.

If prompted I may tell the even grosser LeMond story.

I've probably told this story before.

During one of the tours Greg apparently caught some type of intestional virus and developed the diarrhea that usually follows this type of ailment. So, what do you do if you're the number one rider in the world, are in the middle of the biggest bike race of the year and you have the runs? Simple. You have someone in the team car hand you a towel, you stuff it down the back of your shorts and you go. You ride away from the car and carry on.

The rider who told this story said that he'd have quit before he did what Greg did and that the smell was awful. That's what makes a champion I guess.

In the Northwest Collegiate Conference a couple years ago during one of the races someone from my school said she had to pee and a few of the other ladies said they had to, too. So at the turnaround point (it was out-and-back) the entire group of 30-40 stopped and took a squat. That certainly would've been something to see.

Bikes: 1 trek, serotta, rih, de Reus, Pogliaghi and finally a Zieleman! and got a DeRosa

I believe that Jan Ullrich had a similiar experience
to Lemonds on L'Alpe D'huez in the Tour this year.
I seem to recall seeing somewhere that they hosed him down after a case of diarrhea.
