Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: '87 Paramount & '02 Scapin EOS3

That is why I no longer live in Philly and especially in Queen's Village. It has become a dangerous and dangerously polorized place and I do not feel safe there. Sad to say after having gone to college at 33rd and Walnut and living there for almost 20 years. The present mayor can take a great deal of the blame for same. But I don't think he will. It is so bad now that I won't even drive into the city unless I have to. And I am definitely not alone in my feelings.
