Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Broken wrist... New bike setup!

I broke my wrist, saw that a pro did too and copied his bike set up. It works well, but the wrist is uncomfortable riding so soon after the break. If you have any tips on bar end shifters let me know, I threw the friction one on the wrong side because it was a tad smoother than the sis/friction.

All photos are mirrored because of a cheap camera.

I'm a bit bummed that I'll be wearing a cast to my hometown race, but hopefully this will work.

Racing with a cast! Document please =]

Edit: Can you hit the brake with your right hand? Maybe a cross brake would be a good idea also.

Are you really going to race without a fully functioning right hand?

Please be sure and have someone video this event.

edit: Left, right, whatever.
