NorCal East, Sunday 25th
A week after Foxy's should be as good a time as any for a long hilly ride.
We'll start off from near me at Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova, starting the ride at 8:45 sharp, so be a little early to get ready. Head up the bike trail to Iron Point and then road.
Up the hill, down the hill to Beatty. Up the hill and over the ridge. Back up that ridge for Wilson (why not just add another hill for the heck of it?) and back down the ridge a little farther North. Up and over the first Serrano ridge and then head South.
Cothrin Ranch and then French Creek. Lots of climbing before the lunch break at Subway!
Then some more climbing on Deer Valley before heading back.
Total of around 80 miles and a bit over 6000 feet of climbing. Some steep, some not so steep.
Directions to meeting location:
From 50.
Exit on Mather Field Rd.
North at the light.
Right on Folsom
Just past the Raleys, Left on Coloma
Left on Chase
Pass the High School on right
Just before park entrance, there is a parking area on the right, park there.
Anyone interested in this little jaunt?

Anthoni, did you get the new shifters and other parts installed on your bike? How do you like it?

Without fail you pick weekends where I'm totally a no-go. Wife is in DC all weekend. Me pulling a 4 year-old in a Burley is do-able. My 7 year-old doing it on a single speed hotrock is not. Have fun.

Looks like we're going to have to do a bit of rerouting. The bike trail is closed at Hazel for a 1/2 marathon, until noon. So...
From there we'll head S on Hazel and hang a LEFT on Folsom. That'll take us over to Iron Point.

Just gonna post that.
I'll be running. Goes from downtown Folsom along ARBT (south of Lake Natoma), crosses at Hazel, comes back to downtown Folsom along ARBT (north side). Starts at 8am. 2:45 time limit, so theoretically, ABRT should be open/clear by 11am.
