NorCal East, Century, Nov. 22 maybe?
Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/15495
It'll end up around 90 miles, about 5600 feet of climbing. I included some of my favorite hills. Shirland Tract, Chili Hill, Lonzanos, Ridge (easy, great fun descent), and a not very steep climb up Sierra College. Lots of rollers and a couple of steep buggers. There are some water stops and I'm sure we could turn up a lunch stop when needed. Pace will not be real fast. Since this is a fairly long ride with lots of climbing, I'm not going to pace particularly fast on the flats (and I'm just not a real fast rider). 16 or so on flats.
Ride will start near my house at the normal spot. Parking lot just outside Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova.
Anyone interested? Figure to start around 8:30, that'll give a little time to warm up, and still enough time to get the ride in before dark. Pizza and beer after.
Rain Cancels. Though I might ride anyway if it's a light drizzle type. Current forecast is sunny and 62

Joel, you could make a left of of Mt. Vernon on to Enterprise Dr and have a pit stop at my gym. It's less than 100 yards on the right.

After pre-riding this much of this today and coming in at 93mi with 1 wrong turn, and finding some things I didn't like, I'm going to make a few changes to the route. It'll be in the neighborhood of 85 miles. Bess is coming along too, so the pace won't be high.
EDIT: OP is edited to show new route.

We got a little wet in Auburn. Bess bonked pretty good early in the ride - about 40 miles in, no quick way back - (she didn't eat enough yesterday or this morning before we left) and wasn't really able to recover. So we shortened it and cut out a few hills. Ended up just shy of 80 miles, with 4100 feet. Slow and easy for me, she was suffering. Stuck it out and made it home safe and sound.

Don't mince words
We woke up to leaden skies and didn't ride at all. In fact, we spent the day doing as little as possible. Success!
