Bikes: Crust Romanceur, VO Polyvalent, Surly Steamroller, others?

I prefer riding behind a good-looking girl rather than in front of her.

What kind of racing, anyway? Track or otherwise?

what to do?
get over your inferiority complex, have some encouraging words for her, and be proud to ride alongside her.
if she places better than you, well, maybe -just maybe- that's okay.
go her.

I was gonna say all the responses to this post were good, but this one is especially fitting. There's no room for this s***. Get a brain. Seriously.

Bikes: 01 bianchi pista, custom. 04 felt f-15, full record.

Are you the only guy in the race that she'll be beating? If not, then who cares, just remind all the other guys that she's your girlfriend. Then come whine when she leaves you for someone who can keep up.

Bikes: Titus road, Fort CX

I saw a broken tree branch by the roadside as I was riding to the store yesterday. I skid-stopped, which caused me to slow down. Now, normally this does not bother me, but at the time I was thinking about Klondike bars and just what would I do for one. The possibilities are endless and free of religious undertones. So I stooped over to get the branch and my lock fell out of my pocket. I am not sure, but I think I heard laughter.
Should I replace the valve on my front tube because of this?
pls advice

dude - you are missing the point. What about the valve on my tire? This is a TOTALLY serious question. Just like the one at the top of this thread.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

You have to replace it all, not just the tube. You need a completely new wheel.

And a new lock.
