Alooooha from San Francisco!!!
You have to love a Forum with beer swilling smily faces!
My name is Torrin, and I'm from the Bay Area, Ca. I used to build race motorcycles and was the lead mechanic for Yoshimura R&D.
I recently moved up to S.F. and am running the service shop for a BMW motorcycle dealership. I was hit by a pickup truck a few months ago and shattered both wrists and an ankle. I decided to get back into bicycling (after a ten year hiatus) to help with rehab. I'm now fully addicted and will hopefully start competing in cyclocross once I have healed.
I may not know everything about bicycles, but if anyone has any questions about motorcycles, I'd be more than happy to help!
Torrin
p.s. if anyone knows how to get involved in cyclocross in Northern California, shoot me an e-mail, I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to the Forums, Torrin.
A good place to find 'cross information in this area is the NCNCA website. The link to the cyclocross page on their website is here .
Good luck with your recovery.
