Fixie/SS friendly shops in Sacramento?
Hi guys. I just moved from Massachusetts out to Sacramento. So far the city seems pretty bike friendly. I've enjoyed a few rides so far, but my bike needs some work. I stripped the threads on my hub, so I ride on the freewheel side now, and neither of my wheels are really that great, so I'll probably end up investing in a new set of wheels. It could also use a lube job in the bottom bracket and some general upkeep, cuz it had a long winter in the 'burbs whilst I looked for a job. So I'm looking for a good bike shop in town, preferably a place with some fixie/ss knowledge, but also just a good place with fair prices and such, and who won't overcharge for fixing a flat if I'm stuck without a tube and pump (like a few of the crapshops back in boston). Any info would be appreciated!! If you live in Sacramento and see someone on a red Puegot with a Sox hat on, say hi!
