Their happy hour has a prime grade beef burger for $6. Comes with fries and bacon.

Otherwise, I just either make it at home or go to in n out.

I had a hot Italian sandwich from Fat Boy's deli that was amazing. Genoa salami, cappicola, mortadella & provolone cheese w/ tomato, black olives, hot banana peppers & mayo on an Italian roll. It was ****ing delicious.

I am a bike designer/ frame builder and am 5'- 6" tall, after examining the geometry On the kilo tt the cranks are elevated (high bottom bracket) over eleven inches, (half an inch above normal) so when they say 50 cm it puts the seat tube that much higher. I do not know what top tube/ foot overlap you can stand, but if you go to the 47cm, for me the 51cm top tube and 38 mm fork offset with a 73 degree head tube, spells a huge amount of foot overlap and short reach. In a perfect world, I would believe you would be happier with a 46 - 7 cm seat tube 10.5" bb height, a 53 top tube and a 72 head tube angle. In other words their geometry sucks.

I am interested to hear what would you recommend instead for a track frame?

Yeah, track frames having track geometry does seem pretty wacky.

Do you ever go to that Hodad's place? I went there a couple years ago. Wasn't too bad. I mean, it's just burgers, but it was pretty good.

Hodad's is excellent. The one in OB always has a line stretching around the block (and I'm not one to wait in line for 2 hours to eat a burger) but we've got a friend who works at the downtown location who always hooks us up in return for keeping his bike dialed.

Yeah the downtown one is the one we went to. I liked it a lot, good ****, and pretty inexpensive.

About the frame geometry A 10.5" bb is plenty high for a fixed gear/ track bike, I own a few, and they all have 10.5" . I used to race on a velodrome at least 40 times a year for quite a few years on a bike with 10.5", and never hit a pedal. It is common practice to raise the bb up to achieve a flat top tube. but unfortunately it eats away at the stand over. I know I said a 51cm top tube is short, but for instance i have an old reynolds Schwinn Paramount track bike, 21" frame and it has a 57 cm top tube with a downward pointing short Cinelli stem.
So a long top tube is not so unusual I built myself one that has a 54, and it is fine. So it comes down to, do you want that traditional track look with flat tt, with little stand over or something a little more modern looking.

It really depends on where you're at, the south bay has a decided lack of super bomb burger spots. But up and down both sides on the bay there is a ton of em popping up all the time, a lot of the restaurants around here will survive for a year or two before closing down and "re-imagining" themselves.
Even though I'm down south, I am lucky that my work has a cafeteria that uses fancy ingredients and i get a discount.
