I hardly rode when I was there. All of my friends were in bands, so we spent a lot of time at Mac's Bar and The Temple Club (which I believe is now defunct).

Mac's is still there, Temple is long gone. It was a dance club for a while then I think there was a drug problem there and now it is just boarded up I believe.

Temple used to have dirt cheap long islands and I remember (some of it anyway) getting silly there many a time. Happy to hear Mac's is still around. I actually saw some really good shows there by national acts that shouldn't have been playing a bar that small.
