Seriously, I see that only businesscycles is carrying them and I wanted to check them out before I buy, especiallly yellow and orange.

these grips come in 1mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm thickness.
The 1.5mm Yoshidas I have were much easier to get on than the Soyo grips (which tore off a dime-sized old climbing callus during installation).
They do feel nice!

Anyway, rubbing alcohol works wonders! Once it dries, they're on there!

I had tried the half bar wrap deal on the drops, but it looks very bad! Hopefully, I'll be able to get the grips on!

I used my own spit actually (while drinking a Heiniken Dark) and they slid on like butter.

i've got the champ grips on one of my bikes and i really like them. one word though, if you've ever had tape on your bars then make sure you get ALL of the glue off. i managed to get all of it off one side of the bars, but missed some on the other side, idiot that i was. i struggled for over an hour trying to get the grip on the side that had glue on it, even after recleaning the bar, cause some of the glue worked its way inside the grip. i managed to get a dime sized rubber burn on my hand trying to get the grip on there. it sucked and i was cursing the day i got the grips, but now i like em. i guess its common knowledge to get the glue off, i knew it, but i still managed not to make sure it was all off.

i use a mix of whatever dish soap is in the kitchen and water and spray it out of a spray bottle with soyos' and have never had a problem, in fact they tend to stick and are ready to ride...

i'm going to use champs though, for the colors when i change up a bit...

i think the trick is to work QUICKLY - work 'em on there while the lube is 'in effect'. but yeah, i bet the glue didn't help much...

hairspray, baby!

That's how I do it. Hairspray, then get the grip on the bar, then roll it up onto itself and use hairspray and rotation to get it where I want it, then roll it back down onto the bar. Works well if you're trying to get it up past the curves.
