Okay, maybe he means the brake caliper, itself. In that case, if he actually paid $150 for a single Shimano 105 brake, he's most certainly an idiot. When I was building my road bike, I was able to find, on ebay, a new, in the box, set of Shimano 105 5700 brakes for less than $150. Like right here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-NEW-Shi...item19fecae1a9 I'm probably wrong in getting fired about this kind of stuff, but I can't help but think this jacka** is trying to rip someone off, who doesn't know any better. I hate people like that. Then again, maybe he doesn't know any better, either. |
