It looks like the Sport lacks the air bleed button that is not seating on my Pro. It's really an unnecessary feature, and just something else to go bad. It's another case of KISS.

Ehhhh I have a vintage silca pista and a more modern silca super pista and they get shot out of the water by my lezyne. If anything, I suspect the ultimate pista is only equivalent to a lezyne but for far more.

I have used a Spin Doctor pump for 3 years and it works flawlessly.
Easily attaches to assorted valve types. Has been loaned out for a bunch of rides.
Came back nicked but still working. The price is right and Performance stands
behind their products.

Today I installed a new leather plunger gasket in my old Silca Pista pump that I retrofitted with the pumphead and hose from my defunct Topeak Joe Blow Pro. This pump is great ! It doesn't pump a lot of air per stroke, but 100% of that air gets delivered effortlessly to the tire. And with the Topeak Smarthead, I can use it to inflate both Presta and Schrader valve tubes, whereas before it was only Presta capable. It will be interesting how much better the new Lezyne pump works.

Houston, the Lezyne has landed !
Well folks, I've got it, and I must say I'm impressed. For sure it's the best floor pump I've ever had, sort of like a Silca Pista on steroids. It takes about 20 full strokes to get a 700x23c tire from completely flat to 100 psi. The effort increases with pressure, and it's fairly easy to get up to 140 psi, but beyond that point it starts to get hard. By 180 psi I was pushing hard enough to start lifting my feet off the floor and I could not get past 200 psi. No doubt the pump is capable of achieving its 220 psi maximum rating, but it will take someone a lot stronger and heavier than me to do it. The pressure gauge is enormous, and the legends are very legible, so the fact that it's located at the base instead at the top of the barrel matters little. Even @hairnet would not have any problem seeing it. It took a while figuring out how to use the new ABS2 chuck, and it can be a bit tricky getting it on wheels with lots of spokes that are close together, especially for someone with large hands. I tested it only on presta valves, and will probably use my old Silca Pista with the chuck from my defunct Topeak Joe Blow Pro for the few bikes I have with Schrader valves. One minor disappointment is that the ABS2 chuck won't fit the tiny opening in my old ZIPP 909 disc wheel, so if I ever use it again I'll need to use an old press-on chuck that requires a second person to hold it on the valve while I operate the pump.

Nope. According to Lezyne, it must be used with a flip thread chuck and mine came with the new ABS2 chuck that is supposedly disc wheel compatible. To use that I'd have to revert to a flip thread chuck, which I'd rather not do. In any event, I haven't used my disc wheel in over two years, and probably won't use it ever again since I've pretty much given up on racing.
