^^^ The only problem I see with that setup is that once you install the cranks and pedals, the pedal will get scratched up as it rubs against the stone. But I agree that it's a nice objet d'art.

Here's the full bike hanging. The bars and pedals are still about 3-4 inches from the wall.

I used to have two of those hooks in my garage at my last place so I could just hang the bike upside down by the rims. No garage anymore, though. :(

Soooooo... Yeah, hey fellas. If you're going to mount your bicycle hanging apparatus, especially on stone, be sure to use proper anchors. Mine just ripped out of the top hole (bike is fine, the bottom anchor held). I was using what appear to be drywall anchors rather than stone anchors. :P
