Chub Hub

Anyone know of anywhere/anyone that still carries these?

there's no good reason to get one. they're difficult to maintain, and in no way superior to conventional track hubs of decent quality.

they're definitely not attractive looking enough to warrant all the drawbacks.

How are they difficult to maintain? I've read that the bearings have a tendency to go because of bad chain tautness. I personally like the looks of them, and perhaps thats just because they are somewhat unique. But, I dont' want to waste my time trying to find a pos that is completely difficult to maintain.

Also. Chubb went out of business and they had no stock left. I talked to Joe Graney, who owned Chubb about a year ago, and he told me that all he had left were some spare parts, but no full hubs.

Terrapin04 buy a LEVEL. Much better than a chubb ever was, and will be equally BLING, although not as Orange :)
