which brand is better?
I bought a Felt Brougham fixie. is it any better than a 6KU?
|
What do you mean by BETTER?
|
in a general basis. is it better frame? is it reliable? everything basically. I'm new to biking as well to brands
|
What kind of motor are you putting on it.
Bike riding = 10% bike..90% the motor (You) |
Yes the Felt is nicer, but I don't understand why you care about the 6KU if you've already bought a Felt.

'Buy first, ask questions later' is always the best way to do things.

Brand Bikes
Most bikes today are built by three or four mega conglomerates in China. One line will crank out brand "X". Right next to it will be be brand "C" (And so on.) I'm very happy with my fixed gear I bought from Bicycle Direct. Low prices and great bikes.

Always go with the brand that sponsors a professional UCI team. Felt does that.
6KU? I never heard of them before. Probably a company or moniker of a retailer who's just reselling frames from China to make a quick buck. Here one day and gone into obscurity the next. |

Unless they're disguised as another team, perhaps?! |
The Felt is the nicer bike

I think Motobecan was hot $hit back in the day as well. Right up there with Schwinn.

Actually, back when Mercier wasn't the BD puppet of a brand, they participated in the 1935 - 1983 tours.

the felt looks like a decent bike. So id say you didnt make a bad decision.
|
not sure which SKU bike you're referring to or if they're all the same, but most SKU's I've seen are relatively inexpensive and made of hi-ten steel, at least the felt is cr-mo. but you already bought it so who cares, it looks like a decent bike. ride and enjoy.

Go ride your bike.
