chainring noise.

ive got a speacialized langster 04 and recently put on a mavic ellipse wheelset w\ dura ace 16t cog and i mavic lockring. problem is theres alot of noise coming from down there espeacially when i back pedal. the chain appears str8. and im having trouble determining if its coming from my bb or rear wheel. any advice out there? thanks.
and whats up with people talking on their cell phones at the LIBRARY ?

mine does the same... but my chainline is not optimal... a little chainlube usually quiets it down for 2 weeks or so
